Following the success of ASAP West Africa inaugural essay competition for undergraduate students, Entries for the 2nd edition will open on Monday 23 July 2018. The topic for the competition is ‘’Impact of Leadership and Governance on Poverty Alleviation in Africa’’.

To participate, students should submit an essay of not more than 3,000 words as well as a short profile not more than 150 words. The profile should include name, institution, course of study and year of study. The essay, profile as well as a copy of student identity card should be submitted to

Entries will close on 10 December 2018 and the winner will be announced on 31 January 2019. The winner will receive a cash prize in the sum of N250,000 (Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira).  Participants should avoid submitting more than one entry in order not to be disqualified.
